Concluding ceremony for an innovative optional subject (D UAS) A concluding ceremony was held on the traditional feast of St. Barbara on 27th November 2009 at the Foundry Institute of Duisburg Essen University for the nine students who worked on the "Simulation process for component optimisation" project. The Society of German Foundry Specialists (VDG) awarded a sponsorship prize, the "Newcast Student Award", to the cooperation project between D UAS, Messrs. MAGMA, the Institute for Foundry Technology and Messrs. Voxeljet. The prize was presented on this evening by the general manager of the VDG, Dr. Gotthard Wolf. |
